Tara Cooper Weiss is an experienced library media specialist with a background teaching ELA and journalism. She has advised and edited over 25 yearbooks, earning accolades from both the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and the Garden State Scholastic Press Association. Currently, Tara serves as the Intellectual Freedom Chairperson for the New Jersey Association of School Librarians (NJASL) and is pursuing an MS in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. She resides in Parsippany, NJ, with her husband and their rescue dog.
